In this session, participants are introduced to the basic history and structures of Internet governance, in order to understand the opportunities and challenges of different stakeholders in the ecosystem. The session consists of two input blocs of 25 minutes each, and is followed by a networking and output session in breakout rooms.

This meeting is co-organized by the German Informatics Society, the IGF Secretariat and YIGF Poland.
